Thanks you guys. Means a hellava' lot coming from ALL of you. :champ:
I used the Zoom Q3HD. I apologize about the low lighting. The converting (as you know) degrades it detrimentally.

The original download should work fine if allowed to complete (Viewed as a QuickTime .avi file, but works best with VLC player)
I reluctantly put it on YouTube to make it easier for viewing, but unfortunately there's video/audio degradation.
Here it is again, but this time with solo/improv stuff of that day. Solo is now in the middle... w a i t for it....

Thanks guys. YES ! Those are John Bonham replica Ludwig's. They're even tuned to this awesome vid by Jeff Ocheltree down to the skin's, cowbell & Ching Ring, but less the 402 Supraphonic Snare & Speed King pedal in which I cheated & have a double bass there for modern. As well as a 10" splash & China-pang from KISS's Eric Karr, lol...

Always a plus when you share a Living Room with your roommate as you can see here !

Get this... I found this DSD for $19.01 on eBay that was listed as "old". It was poorly wax potted with melted bobbins, but performs perfectly and reads roughly 12.73Ωs'. Looser bottom than my other square legged DSDs'.... Just picked up another SH-5 and slapping that in at the moment as you've seen from the Living Room vid and guitar lying on the bench.

jerrydyer wrote:wow.. whats your set up sir? I haven't been here in a while.
Thanks Jer. That's my latest build I finished up earlier this year after nearly 3 years.
The guitar is a '90/'91 MIJ HM Strat frankenstrat also posted here.
Playing through a Big "M" cab BB loaded. Maxon AD999 & T-Rex RoomMate through effects loop with a Clinch EP+C engaged on Zero through the front end.
somethin'else wrote:... that loop is wicked.
Thanks Dave !
yeah, also, at the end of the YT vid, there's an 8 bar loop from a section of Ed's solo where I was throwing around ideas.
I did it with Amazing Slow Downer. That's such a great program for guitar players ! I will be doing another thread on that & the GR5 for those who would be interested and will elaborate there.
(A *high-five* goes out to Doug Steele. I would of loved to have had him as my teacher back in the day.
Thanks for makin' me laugh, Bro ! Great Player & Awesome Teach !)

You guy's rock !

Holy crap that sounds killer, and killer playing. Very soulful in the way you squeeze the tone out of the note, and you have the same exact guitar I do. Color and everything, except mine is an 88 or 89 USA model bought for. $400 at guitar center in Orange.. Or was it Santa Ana? There weren't many back then. It was the One in OC. I took out the original super distortion and replaced iit with a darkburst. What pick up does yours have?
