evhguitars wrote:Funny part is that they label this guy a Kramer master luthier.
Then the" Master Luthier" jokes of how badly he built the guitar.
The "Master Luthier" that built the guitar does not know the wood type are pup he used even with him holding it in his hands?
Wow, Kramer had talent on board.
BTW 6 figures when the seller's thread existed.

Kramers were a cosmic joke, they were not even USA made. yeah they felt good and had good tone but your were playing a LIE! they were either ESP or LADO madeevhguitars wrote:Funny part is that they label this guy a Kramer master luthier.

Lado made some of the best hot rods in the 80's. I hade one and never should have sold it. They had a cheap line called the Hawk series. Everything else was way ahead of the competition. These 2 are from the mid 80's.Marshall SL12301 wrote:Kramers were a cosmic joke, they were not even USA made. yeah they felt good and had good tone but your were playing a LIE! they were either ESP or LADO madeevhguitars wrote:Funny part is that they label this guy a Kramer master luthier.

I agree and kramer was making their guitars from ESP/lado/??? parts anyway so how can this UNK be their luthier?evhguitars wrote:How was this guy ever a Master Luthier for Kramer EVH or anyone? He surely does not seem to have much knowledge.
NO argument here! I NEVER heard of him prior to this 5150 talk,ad like you said he is far from a master luthier considering even the franks he built are utter junk. eddie played great and thats why people fall for the he is a great builder think with UNKERT. I hate that tuning fork headstock he came up with!evhguitars wrote:Unk was viturally UNKnown until the internet age. I never understand why people strated labeling him a Master Luthier that built guitars for EVH..
Kramer was an outsource parts company assembling overseas parts..not a guitar mfg. company. They had no expert builders on hand inside or outside of the company..
EVH mainly was using Boogie Bodies, Charvel, Tom Anderson..
When he signed up with the Kramer, for endorsement sales only, there were no Kramer expertly built guitars coming to him from Kramer for him to endorse..
