The more I listen to these, the better they get. It's a little creepy. It's got that
burn that I've never found in software. The presence of an amp blowing air doesn't translate online anyway, so if you lied and said this was your amp mic'ed I would be shitting bricks.
*Edit: DOH! He already posted it!

Interpretation?! I thought I was playing it right!

Aside from being half step sharp...

....you friggen nailed it dude.
I'm convinced that we cork-sniffing tone dorks who worship tubes are missing out with the possibilities of digital. Heck, I'm starting to dial in some decent EVH tones with my Fender Mustang, after messing with the Fuse software settings for a while.
Dweezil playing Eruption with the Ax-FX was what convinced me that you don't need a real tube amp anymore to get to Brown Town.

can a PODxt get anywhere near that with the right tweaking? i read here that there was a member of this forum that got a great EVH tone using his PODxt? I cant always play my marshall late at night and after hearing this guitar rig 4 clip i have some faith in digital modelers now

I've been able to get some usable tones from my POD X3, obviously not 100% authentic but good enough for satisfy myself for jamming.

Strat78t is a hell of a guitar player yes indeed much respect however G4 smokes the pod that's my Humble and Honest Opinion. It has that real feel to it amp to cab non digital not like the podxt, yes I have heard killer clips with it I agree, try the G4 I will tell ya you will love it.

Here's something i threw together in my pod x3.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMynwD1FsQI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's not as hi gain as some of the clips posted here though as I wanted to try to keep clarity.
I've been messing with the guitar rig 4 preset posted and making a few changes but not really tweaked it to something i'm that fond of yet. The RAT pedal is making it too fuzzy in my opinion.
