Actually, I'm using my bastard strat with a DSD. The flanger is an MXR micro in front of everything, going into the Jump set-up. The only thing I do to it is EQ pre & post amp. The trick is to shift the mid-range emphasis to the high end and improve the clarity of the low end; no mud. I suspect if I had a Super II instead, I wouldn't need the EQ.

Howdy Zephyr, i just popped in on the back end here, and took a listen. Why do you have an octave below included? i'm hearing it big time at :27. Not saying it is bad at all, just wasn't sure if it was intentional or an artifact. rock on!

Interesting. I'm not using an octave at all, so it must be an artifact of the recording.

In fact, I don't really like the way it sounds now. For me it's very unbalanced and sounds like it was recorded in a box. It's strange, but when I do a direct recording from guitar rig and then export it to my desktop, the compression really degrades the best qualities of the sound. Something I'll have to figure out how to counter in Adobe Audition.

Last Guitar Rig brown sound I'm gonna post. Probably not gonna get any better IMO. The actual preset is miles better than the clip will have you believe.
