I think ep3 even tho it doesn't look like it in pics....running the ep3 before actually reduces noise from the 6 band,,,the other way around kind of screws with the ep3 tone..

It's like a signal to noise ratio deal...the more signal going into nthe 6 band the less the signal to noise as the noise level stays the same ..that's why peole find it noisy ..they plug there guitar into the 6 band with there van halen pickup and the level is so low all you hear is noise..bad s/n...ep3 before good s/n

I though so too but I'm going to the EP-3 pre first in the latest clips and it's better to my ears.

Wait a minute. I just re read this and realized I had misunderstood. I agree with this and it is working better with the EP-3 in front of the 6 band.
