How much will you sell those babies for? The tolex is bleu or purple? I like it a lot

It's purple, but it looks really bleu in the pics. I noticed that my digital camera doesn't show purple right ever. And I have a hard time adjusting purple in photoshop.

The head as shown is $2350. Including voltage mod.

That would be cool!

I actually did it in purple since I read that George Lynch's favorite Marshall was purple. The one owned by Aspen Pittman. Did you guys know he had to rent that amp? At least that's what I heard.

George how does the bias re-ajust itseft when going from 400 to 500vdc? Or does it?

It does, but I'm not sharing exactly how. It's my own little circuit I worked up.

500 volts should be pretty demanding on the output tubes. Do any modern tubes hold out for long under those conditions?

I've had great luck with JJ E34L's. Though I know now everyone cares for them tonally. I like them.

Ooohhh. A secret. It doesnt look like the standby switches anything other then the HV. Its not a detailed picture though. That may be a big fat 3PDT switch. I was planning on just rebiasing every time i switched.

Hey George, how would that work if we wanted to try KT66's or 6CA7's? Or would that work?

BTW, I sent you an email yesterday RE: cabs status. Did you get it?

Thanks, G

I think I have a good idea how you do it if thats a 3PDT. I may be entirely wrong of coarse. Ive been playing around with the bias circuit for the last few nights in my new amp. Im trying to do a dual bias. I think I have it but the pots will always be a bit interactive. You cant change the bias for each side totally independantly But it does work :) As far as I know all other dual bias arrangements are interactive to some degree as well.
