Hey, I need to connect with a cab builder who can build based on my 3D CAD files. I have been documenting and designing in 3D for a couple years. It's helping me nail chassis, boards and panels. Far more accurate to original parts then ever before, including all the little quirks and oddities. I need to find someone who can translate these into actual cabinets.
Mojo has done a good job with the True Replica cabs. But there are several extra steps in the process. I wish we could operate like I do with chassis. I submit a 3D file, which is translated into CNC format and loaded into a machine. I rarely even make dimensioned drawings any more. I just print out drawings to scale on the plotter to check size and fit.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I assume that you've already figured out that the finger joints are a HUGE problem.
They just can't be done by a round cutter with the sheets laying on the vaccum table. (At least not with any machine i have seen, or can imagine.

Yeah, you still need the jig for finger joints. And router for rounded edges.

I was watching an episode of Flipping Vegas today, and it looked like, in the brief sequence showing the manufacturing of the custom kitchen cabinets they were done CNC. Also, in the downstairs hall at the NAMM show, they had a giant (I was wondering how they got it in the building!) CNC machine making parts from wood.... when I saw it it was making guitar necks, but it looked as though it could handle much larger things.

Don't worry it will all be 3-D printing soon any way!
