need help with my jtm 45/100 build!
First off what's up everyone I'm Phil I'm a US Marine who is building my first amp. I work on the electrical systems of the uh-1Y huey and the AH-1W cobra
but alas I'm not an I level tech and don't really know to much about circuit boards I went to the basic course but it was a few years ago basically I know how to trouble shoot install major componets and run wires. Anyways I need help installing the output transformer I just don't know what what primary wires go where because Im used schematics not layouts and colors sent right because I dident use the ceriatone but here it is/ http://www.ceriatone.com/images/layou ... -18067.pdf plz help!

The red wire on the Classic tone OT replaces the Brown wire on the Ceriatone Layout. The Black replaces the the Blue wire. If you are going to replace the OT on a 45/100, use a better OT. Classictone tranies are cheap. You wouldn't use cheap bullets on a AW50 Sniper Riffle would you.

Hey Phil, hope axeman answered your question. But as for the other comment... I wouldn't worry mate, there's nothing wrong with Classic Tone. I've read load's of good reports on them and I'd seriously consider using one for my next build. Every tranny has it's own effect on the tone, personally I'd choose CT over MM for a 45/100 any day since it has a vintage voice rather than a bright aggressive modern tone. I'd put the money you've saved tward a good set of NOS preamp valves. Anyway's hope you enjoy the building experience, there's a great bunch of guy's around here that are happy to help should you hit any more problems or you just want to know something.

Thank you guys for the answers and suggestions. I've heard the opinions on the classic tone OT if I don't get the tone I want out of it ill be sure to upgrade it to a marstran OT
for now I just want to hear it! One last question on this schematic of the PT what wire goes to pin N of the mains input? http://classictone.net/40-18068.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hey Phil, looks like your neutral is the wire on the primary side of the transformer marked COM WHT.
