I have spent way too long looking on the computer and not working on my amp!
I need to get some wire. I'm going for some 18 gauge, stranded, Teflon covered.
My question, is $12.75 for a 25 foot spool OK? I have no idea!!
Here is what I'm looking at, anybody have any experience with BulkWire? Thanks!

Re: Where to buy wire?
Haven't dealt with them but that is a good price for teflon.
What are you going to use 18 ga for?
Most of the wiring can be done with 20 or 22 ga.
The exceptions are the heater wires and the power supply.
I like teflon because it doesn't melt. A little harder to strip but well worth it.
It seems to be thinner in diameter as well.
18 ga can be difficult to get into some eyelets though.

Re: Where to buy wire?
Thanks Strutco,
I need to run all the leads from the PT and OT.
I got a couple of Heyboer 18 watt trannies that are terminals only.
All the signal wires are 22 gauge. I did all the buss/grounds and
heaters with 18 and yes it was a bear to stuff the eyelets. But I have
taken a liking to the Teflon wire!

Re: Where to buy wire?
Another good place to buy wire is from http://www.Apex" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Jr.com
He has all kinds of wire.
It's best to call him as he sometimes doesn't list all on the website.
You can save a lot depending how much you need.
That way you can get the different colors you need and just the amount you need.

Holy @%$#$#&^% Strutco.......
Apex Jr has 18 gauge in 8 colors for .18 cents a foot.
That's $4.50 for 25 feet vs $12.75!! Woah, that's what I'm talking about.
Thanks!!! Save me the Money
