Stooopid question..

Okay, so I was listening to a clip by in the member section, (rgalpin?) KILLER tones.
So he laid out the specs of his 68 Metro kit.

68/2.7K, 560/500, 33k/500 tone, caps: 50, 32, 16, 16,


So, I get split cathode...I think I'm missing the vocabulary when stuff is spelled out.

68/2.7K is the first stage right?

560/500 I'm not following where that is.

I get the tone..33k/500 tone stack.

50, 32, 16,16
So I gather that's the dual 16 on the board, 50 on the mains, and 32 on the screens? Am I translating that right?

Thanks for your patience. I just want to make sure im getting the jargon straight. I loved his tone, and am thinking of using these values on a 50watt build I'm amassing some parts for. (Kit soon Fido!)

yap, 68/2k7 is split cathode for V1b

33k/500pf is "lead spec" tone stack

560/500 I believe these are caps on bright channel - 560pf is the mixer bypass cap; 500pf is the bright cap (on volume pot)

I'd say this: 50uf - mains / 32uf - screen / 16uf - phase inverter / 16uf - preamp
