Tube amp design courses?

Post by slashsound » Sun Apr 19, 2009 1:23 am

I have looked and looked on the internet for courses in guitar tube amp design or even seminars but I cant find any. The best I could find was a building course, but thats it. Does anybody have any info that could point me in the right direction? thank you

Start with an electronics course. Any electronics course will cover analog and amplification. You'll learn about transistors 1st but most of the concepts are identical. Once you have that knowledge, powering up a tube is not a big leap.

Try working on amps before you design them.

You are putting the cart before the horse.
