My 45 kit came in last night and I had a few quick questions before I go in any further.
For wiring the PT leads onto the ground lugs/tube sockets, are they purposefully giving you extra length to cut off, or am I not winding them enough? I'm finding I have too much length(especially for the grounding lug and the dual 32 cap), and wanted to check with you guys before I essentially cut the arteries of my amp

And also, for just bolting everything in(Trannies, preamp/power/rectifier tube sockets) do I need to use the washers with the 'teeth'(I think they're just called lugs, they look like the grounding lugs w/o the cavities for grounding) between the chassis and the nut? I can't find any pictures of them used in George's instructions, but it's hard to tell from a sky-view perspective.
On tuesday the choke is coming in, then I can really get started, I don't want things to get too crowded in there before I load it in.
