Why is ch 2 Bassier/Understanding the first sec of a 1959

Can some one explain why ch 2 is bassier on a 4 input Marshall OR Why ch 1 has more Treble if thats the case!!
On another note can someone also explain the signal path and whats going on with the following section of a 4 hole Marshall. Only this section so I can retain it  input jacks,68k input resistors, shared cathode,470k res,2 100k,ch1&2 coup caps & vol pots and whatever preamp tubz work with "JUST" these components. Then how and what the adding of a split cathode does. My goal here is to keep it simple so I can understand how the input section of a 4 hole Marshall works and after I know and understand that I can work over to more of the amp instead of getting a crash course of the whole amp in which I will forget everything. Please be detailed so its easy to understand. Thanks a million in advance

because of the bright cap on the mixer resistor on ch1 and because of different cathode caps and resistors
