I would like to know which potentiometer I could use in the V2 position for being able to add or substract plate resistive value (ex.100k to 220k etc..)? You have relatively high voltage but not much current so would a regular alpha pot work? And what switch also could be use in the same position instead as a second option there!

I'm aware I'll have to rebias my 12ax7 with a 2-3k cathode resistor for tha 12ax7 to be biased properly but I need to know anyhow... :wink:

AFAIK the Alpha's are good for 500VDC - 1/2W for the linear, 1/4W for the logarithmic

I've found an easy way of increasing just a bit the gain of my amp, it kinda add more hair then gain it seems, I'll installed a switch so I can go from either 100k OR 330k at V2 for the plate value. 220k versus 100k didn't seem to do much there (V2 plate), but 330k did... kinda nice...
