Going from 69 to 68 PTP

What do I have to do with the R10(2.7k) and C3(.68uf) it is attached to V1 pin8. The 68 board don't have it so what to do with that yellow wire???? Is that the share cathode thing?

I left the wire attached to my boards so I could go back to split cathode if I wanted to (HA!!! HA HA!!!); looped the loose end around the mounting screw at that corner and tied it securely so it wouldn't decide to flop around later. I was kinda worried about potential noise issues with it hanging there but I haven't noticed a problem yet. Then just jumper the remaining cathode to the empty socket pin from the second cathode whose wire you just removed, and enjoy some extra darkness/creaminess in your sound.

Hey JF, you've go it right. Disconnect the wire from pin 8 and run a jumper from pin 3 to 8.

It's done the 68 ptp is mine. NOW, I installed some 220ks for the plate resistors instead of the 100ks and the sound is a bit loose, I guess there is a little to much gain so I will return to the stock 100ks and see.

Have a qts for Gnu or George: If I install the BC 330uf (on V2 instead of the .68uf) is it hook with the 820ohms resistor (like the .68uf is, on the 69 ptp...) or is it by itseft???

Anyone tried the 270Ks for the mix resistors? Whats the difference?
