Adding a DPDT Relay Switch to a 2203 for a (clean / regular)
I am looking to add a DPDT Relay Switch to a 2203 for a (clean / regular) that is switchable from foot switch for a friend of mine.
The amp is like SDM's 2203 layout:
The relay that I have is the Weber CHANSW-HP-ASM, it's a DPDT.
If anyone can point me in the right direction on placing it in the circuit.

here is a video of the mod he is wanting. Just the Clean mod, and not the effect loop.

The tone stack is an odd place for switching. I have had success with switching mods. My amp has 3 "channels" foot swtichable with no channelbleed. i would have to take a look at my notes. its not to difficult though.

thanks Herbvis, I would like to see at what points your connecting to in the circuit.

My breaks are from the end of the coupling caps and the in is the 470k/470pf. The added master is in series With the original master but it iw grounded out in dirty mode. The clean channel has its own gain pot as well. The trick is to have a switchable ground that groumds out the pots when they are no in use. That will stop the channel bleed. I have 2 channel switching boards to acomplish this, but I also have an added stage. You may be able to get away with a single channel switcu board

I got the relay board installed in the chassis, wired up the cliff jack that powers the foot switch, removed the connection from V1A Bypass Cap (.022u) to the Bright Channel Mix Resistor (470k/500pf).
I wired up like the picture below just to verify that I have the relay and foot switch working property which it is.
Herbvis can you be a little more specific on how the clean with the Volume pot is connected in your amp?
