Belden 2 Cond Coax - OK to Use for Rich mod?

Post by BBN-Boys » Tue Jul 19, 2005 6:27 pm

Hello.

George sells these Belden 2 Cond Coax cables in the Metro store.

I was just wondering if it's OK to use the Belden two conductor coax cable with full shield (22 gauge) in doing the PPIMV "Rich" mod??

I'm not sure how much voltage is running throught the PI and if this cable can handle it.

Thanks a bunch.

Thanks George!
The Beldon 2 cond cable makes it look much tidier.
I forgot to purchase more of it on my last order. I hope to remember on my next order.

Hey guys,

When using the Beldon 2 cond cable on a PPIMV Rich mod, how is the shielding wire on this Beldon cable used??

Would it be best to ground the shielding on the 18ga buss wire on the pots??

Or use it as a ground connection for the dual 500K pot and PPIMV circuit??

Thanks
