hard-wiring speaker outputs

i have re-issue jtm45 and would like to hard wire one of the speaker outs for 8ohms...how do i do this??? schematics anywhere? anything too avoid? i just want one 8ohm speaker out....no switch....

Pretty easy, remove the wire connecting the speaker jacks to the Imp. Selector and put the 8 ohm tap there, thats it. Now, the Imp. Selector will not work, just the speaker jack or jacks. Here is a pic of an amp Hard wired for 16 ohms with two jacks. The other lug will have the common wire on it and a wire to ground at either end.

awsome....so if i hardwire it for 8 ohms....does that mean that if i plug in two speaker cabinets the load will be 4 ohms and i can just use two 8 ohm cabs on the two jack wired for 8 ohms?

No. If you plug 2 8 ohm cabs into those jacks youll have 8 ohms into 4 ohms.

So Dan, does that mean you could use both 8 ohm jacks if you had 2 16 ohm cabs?
