ok im not sure if im gonna try it......i just want a lil bit more gain..........i got channel 1 dimed and channel 2 at 4.....im just lookin for like 11 on channel 1.....maybee ill up the feedback resistor from 47 to 100and see if that dose it

That may do it for you. As a quick experiment jsut change the tap the 47k is connected to to the 4ohm if its not there already.

i heard the 4 ohm tap gives more gain but it sounds like shit

Well people hear things differently and one guy's "shit" is what the next guy has been searching for all his life.
Until you try it you won't know which category you're in.
You will get a looser low end with the four ohm tap, just remember to compensate for it with the bass knob turned down some.

well being im just lookin for a lil bump....ill try the fb resistor 1st.....see if that gives it to me

Moving to the 4 ohm and changing to a 100k NFB resistor is more or less accomplishing the same exact thing.

I tried that one wire mod a couple of times and thought it sounded pretty darn good if you want to add a bunch of gain. I used it along with my PPIMV and got some nice results.
