GEORGE - JCM900 SL-X MOD KITS?

Post by playwell » Thu Jul 14, 2005 11:00 pm

George - You do seem to be THE GUY at this hip joint...

Ever thought about offering an SL-X mod kit? My guesstimation is that it would sell like the proverbial hotcake - you are guaranteed at least one order.

Think about it... =) Thanks for this forum, BTW - I am becoming intimately familiar with it at this point.

by mod kit do you mean a ptp board?

similary, a while back there was a thread about the possibility of a ptp board for the silver jubilee, but it never got off the ground. if george could do one of those he would be THE MAN. if i could make my jubilee ptp i would take it to the grave with me!

that would be a crazy ptp board, it would probably be expensive, i assume because their would be turrets everywhere, and it would weigh 20 Lbs. but at least you could mess with the values. the jubilee has a distortion pedal built into it, so imagine the turret forest.
also, the tubes are mounted down the middle of the chassis, forcing you to have to make two boards, and then trying to find a way to mount the pots in their too.
