The biggest, baddest Fender of all time.......

Post by VelvetGeorge » Thu Oct 30, 2003 2:33 am

The PS 400. Fender's 435 watt answer to the SVT!!!
This thing is a bohemoth. It exemplifies all things BIG.

Anyone who's ever had the opportunity to see (or pickup) one of these can attest to it's stature.
84 pounds of pure tube power.
The original prototype apparantly deliverd around 560 watts into (4) 4ohm cabinets!!!

There's more iron in this amp than a modern economy car.

These are the biggest Carling switches I've ever seen in an amplifier. Great stuff.

Yeah, this thing is a monster. Don't worry Shane you'll know when I fire it up because your lights will dim.

Well, the owner made the call to just make the amp functional and safe. It looks like it will be for sale. Feel free to email me for info.

One switch and all the out of spec or just plain wrong components have been replaced. There should be years of life left in this beast.
