2 input MV mod?

Post by Brentsp » Wed Apr 13, 2005 3:47 pm

I'm jumping the gun here since I don't even have my kit yet but this is something I'll end up doing anyways. I'm wanting to join the 4 inputs into one channel and use the Volume II place for a MV mod and the remaining two inputs for 1/2 pwr and triod/pentode. My question is HOW? schematics, instructions, layout drawing etc? Is this all on the CD?

Well, you would join the channels by having one set of inputs go to pin 2 and jump pin 2 to pin 7. Then you can take the other inputs out and put your switches. As far as the half power switch I think you can accomplish that by lifting the ground from the cathode of the 2 inner tubes or the 2 outer tubes. Im not totally sure. You can find schems for pentode/triode at blueguitar.org
