Did you mean 100K resistor?
If your wire goes to the speaker jacks then your selected impedance determines how much feedback goes back to the amp, i.e. using a four ohm cab with 4 ohms selected gives you a smaller amount of feedback than a sixteen ohm cab with sixteen ohms selected (of course we all select the proper match to our cab. ) If you want the most feedback you can get in all situations then hardwire the purple wire to the sixteen ohm tap, but if you're already using a single sixteen ohm cab then it will sound no different.

The purple wire goes from the presence pot to the 47k or 100k resistor, then to one of the impedance selector wires, 4,8 or 16 ohm. Solder the wire on top of one of the OT Wires. Blach 4 ohms, Yellow 8 ohms or Green 16 ohms. The 16 will give a little less gain, the 4 will give the most.

Do you need a pic?
