This late 90's USA "Floyd Rose Classic" strat has tinted poly.

It's not a RS signature, it's a what they called the Floyd Rose Classic. Really great guitar. The color is what Fender called "Vintage White" which is a sort of pale yellow. It's been that way since day 1.JimiJames wrote:That Ritchie Sambora is fading real nice, TB. (More Lemon Pledge funiture polish!)

of course ! Just razzin' ya' ! Thus the emoticonToneBone wrote:It's not a RS signature....
Yes I do ! But for me a '64 Prineton Reverb and add in a '65 Deluxe Rvb w/a ToneTubby replacing the Jensen.ToneBone wrote:Oh so you like my '63 Princeton.....
Here's a late '66 Super (next to the '62 Tremolux) that fell off the back of a UPS truck (no, really ) and I re-did the baffle with a 1x15/1x10 config... All of the 10" Jensen's were damaged with bent frames & torn cones...
I have a JBL D130 that I was going to throw in there but, liked the (same era) Jesen 15" instead.
I wanted it to woof & cut. Crosscut Super-Concert or Super-Vibroverb
I had an '08 Trower in that color and never thought that it would even come close to Oly Wht.
Not with the clear coat Fender used for that year.... I'll take nitro any day !

I tell 'ya,, I like my grit and distortion (MARSHALL) BUT, for cleaner tone,,, up to fuzzy' ,, I like my Music Man HD-130. It has more clean headroom than anything that I've encountered (more than Silver faced Fenders). Many do not like these amps because of the headroom 'resisting' distortion (it (distortion) can get 'flubby') ,, but this HD-130 is the BEST Hendrix amp I've heard (even though he didnt use one).
Eddie Hazel (Comin' Round The Mountain') used one though,, as did Trower on "I'm Out To Get You'.

Tone Slinger wrote:...To me, Trower sounded his best when NOT using a Marshall. That "I'm Out To Get You" off of "Caravan To Midnight" 1978, was recorded in Los Angeles , I think. That sounded like either a Music Man Hd-130 or a Silver faced Fender. In other words, Huge cleaner sound with monstrous headroom. Really made that Univibe come to life.
