One guitar would have been enough imo. That sounded alright. Drummer was a little fast. Buddy had great pocket. Thats where the 'BOG's' sound came from as much as anything. The drummer is the bus rider and everyone else is the passengers.

Also, there was a sorta '?' element to Hendrix. He had a certain vibe or feel that was different. Even when he was grooving to the more simple/primal R&B 'funk' type stuff ('BOG's') he managed to get more out of it.

Glad to see Billy still going strong

we can see who was his master and inspiration !
+ ... not easy to play on a right handed guitar just like jimi , lefty, but strung reversed ! bigger strings on the bottom instead of the top ....

oh shit ! just realised that it was at the new morning ! in paris. i usualy rent a room to play and record stuffs, just two floors over the new morning. and it was in 2011 ???? i was working 50 meters away, shit ! i missed that.

In actuality Hendrix strung his guitar with the high E towards his toes (or strung normal lefty) only on a right handed guitar. There are a lot of lefty's who play with the low E towards their toes like Albert King, Otis Rush, Doyle Bramhall, Dick Dale, Bobby Womack, Coco Montoya, Eric Gales, Eddy Clearwater, etc., BUT Jimi Hendrix was not amongst them.

This link verifies what I've seen and known all along:

i know, i didn't say Hendrix had the bigger string toward his toes ( ?? )
i said he played like jimi on a righty guitar, but strings reversed compared to jimi, so just a righty guitar stringed righty, but played lefty.
