Metal Oxide vs Metal Film resistors replacement

Hello everybody!
Happy New Year!
I'm building my first tube amp, JTM45 kit from valvestorm/metro. I can't find 100k 2w Metal Oxide resistor (don't know, I lost both or they wasn't there from the beginning). Found 100k 2w resistors in local shop. But they don't know is those are oxides or not. I know oxides and film resistors differ, but will it affect on sound? As I said, I'm absolute newbie in this question. How could I find out what type are those?
