Step 8 - Output Transformer Connections
Wiring up the OT is the same here as the instructions. The wires are coming through grommets that are in slightly different spots and the wire colors are different so you need to go by your OT wiring diagram but the step is the same. Leave the CT alone and twist the 2 ends of the primary together and go strait between the V5 and V6 sockets. The start or top wire will go to V5 pin3 and the finish on the bottom goes to V6 pin3.
Same thing with the OT secondary wires. The 4, 8 and 16 ohm taps will go to their respective tabs on the impedance selector switch. The selector switch goes on the preamp side of the jacks.
Mount the jacks and run a buss through them just as in the instructions. The black piece of wire on the one ground tabe that the 1ohm resistor is on will go to the back buss through the sleeve tabs. The common wire will go there as well.

When I installed the PT & OT on my 100w, I installed the grommets first and kept pushing them through hole when I tried to push the wiring through... (there were more wires on the 100w PT and there are no grommets required for the PT on the JTM45/100) FWIW I found it easier to roll the grommets down the wiring and then push into place... As it turns out, you can easily fit the wires through the grommets without pushing them out of place...

Gutpile I had the OT the oppiste way so the secondarys go through the 2 grommets and go strait 2 inches to the impedance selector between V4 and 5. Also the 3 primary wires can fit through the one grommet and they can go strait between V5 and 6 and the primaries and secondaries wont cross each other.

my chances of finishing this week is about 0%... I'm waiting on some parts... do you have a voltage chart? I have one but I am not sure if it corresponds directly with the specs on this build??Billy Batz wrote:You better hurry Ill be finished tomorrow. Maybe. Ill be in KT66 bliss
