First time I saw the Woodstock performance... "WOW, WTF was THAT?!?!?!?!"

That tone is still one of the greatest Marshall tones ever! He used one 100watt head into four cabinets. Saw Ten Years After twice; once in Phoenix just a couple of months after Woodstack and again a couple of years later in Lubbock, TX. Great band, great guitar player.

That woodstock performace is one of my all time favourite guitar performance live :worthy:
