I some how stumbled across this video of Sabastian Bach and Steve Stevens playing Hot for Teacher with Pete Thorn. I will start by saying that Steve Stevens is a fantastic player; I am not really into his music (even though my main guitar is a Washburn Steve Stevens model), but I truly respect his abilities. However, Pete nails the song from start to finish. Likewise, he is playing with a Les Paul, which for me goes to show that getting Ed's sound is not completely in the amp, but in the fingers...

Steve knows Pete's background with his legendary Van Halen lessons from the Internet, ie; Eruption, and though SS has played Jump live with Idol, he took a backseat for this tune.
Pete's style is chameleon like and he is really a versatile player.
