Also one of my early influences. I guess he played pinch harmonics long before the Reverend did. Check out the Woodstock version of "Theme from an Imaginary Western".

When "Mississippi Queen" came out I was 14 at the time and I couldn't quit playing that song; the whole album really(well, except for the quiet parts). I went through the 45, two 'Climbing' albums and now have the CD. 'Climbing' and 'Nantucket Sleighride' just sound great everytime I play them. Leslie's style is truly unique. If he could have managed to reinvent himself like many do he may have been able to stay on top of the charts. But the "charts" don't mean everything...
