I just finished a 1987 type kit (still need to fix a few issues) and am wondering if I should put in a LarMar MV or convert to a 2204 for Slash/EVH tones to start.

I think you need to post this in the "MetroAmp 50 Watt Kits" thread. Even though you mentioned Slash and EVH, this isnt the thread for that question. The people that will know the answer to your question will see it in "50 Watt Kits" thread.

The trouble with your question is the end results are very different indeed. A LarMar PPIMV is a great addition to either amp, and should be considered anyway, rather than as an "or" option. :wink:
