Okay, you guys propably have never heard of a country called Finland. But I'd like to get your opinion on the sound of this guitarist, Petri Walli. He uses a Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop with Gibson Dirty Fingers in bridge and T-Top in neck, through TS-808 and occasionally Big Muff (modulation pedals also, but not relevant in this case). He uses JMP-100 and JCM-800, but mostly the JMP. His sound is the wet dream of mine. Very smooth gain when cranked and shimmering cleans to my ears when cleaned.

Welcome to the Metro forums Jabaman ! I like this guy's (the Bands Too) tone and playing. He has ALOT of force and energy.
He also looks like a cross between Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett
. Those guy's been dead for at least 2 to 3 hundred years.
Oh well, music is timeless.
Those guy's were playing pretty LOUD werent they ?

Yeah, this was an exceptionally professional (in terms of playing) band in Finland considering the music scene in Finland in the 90's... Yuck
Reminds me quite a lot of Pink Floyd but with a lot more aggressive style. The drummer is one of the top here in Finland, he studied drumming somewhere in the States, not sure where... I just love this band, IMHO they were one of the greatest improvisers ever.
Can't say for the loudness as I were a tad too young at the time of the band (early 90's), and the guitarist committed suicide in '95, shame :/

Sorry to hear that he couldnt carry on. Take what you have learned from this fallen musician and go FORWARD ! Time is running out for people to even be able to APPRECIATE art. Times are getting bad again. It's the cycle that comes FULL circle every 4 or 5 hundred years. Dark times lie ahead. But there will always be LIGHT !
