From the eighties this Philadelphia suburbs band was truly a pioneer for real musical values in metal/hair whatever you want to call it.
Tom's playing always showed great restraint and he says it in a few notes, a rare talent. I met him at a music store, the salesman told him about my Marshall collection, I wish I had sold 'em to Tom, instead of Eric Bazilian, but at the time, I wasn't selling them..
Tom has had major problems with his voice, including losing it once, he underwent treatments and is back singing again, although it sounds like he will lose it every time he sings .
I told Tom that he was a great blues player ,and I still believe that to be true. Tom now lives in Nashville and is producing other artists and writing. Tom has always used vintage gear, particularly Marshalls and of course his famous 1959 Les Paul Standard, sold to him by Tom Witterock.
