None of those clips will play. I get a download window to open then "done" and nothing happens. I just went back to the Sozo thread and got John's clip no problem. I'll try later.

Here I go being the oddball again....

On the Mississippi Queen clip, I was all about the 500v!!!

The single note lines sounded exceptionally fuller on the 500v, and (while harder to detect) so did the chord work.....
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

I'd like to hear one of these babies after they've been broken in. What is this one, a few hours old?

Sounds great! Definitely in the VH ballpark.
Why is it we can remember where all the wires go, but can never find a pick?

Just a few hours. Probably 30 minutes of real playing time so far.

I just rerouted a few wires and changed a ground. Now I've got the background hum where it should be...... GONE.

Tone on the Triumph's, I mean Kansas... clip is so fuckin creamy and sweet!!!!!!! It's a killer that tone, a winner here George IMHO...

The VH clips are a hair sluggish at 400 maybe you need to bring it up a little 440-460 maybe, but it's fucking creamy and smooth as hell, your LP fells like a fat strat..... :o , or the amp needs more time on it up to 2o hrs at least..., just my 2 cents.......

You really got me. Actual song panned hard left and my guitar hard right.

First at 400V then at 500V. The difference is pretty significant.

Settings: everything on 10. I could have gotten closer to the record by turning the bass down, but oh well.

EDIT: new version of the 500V clip with both mics.

The new SoZo caps sound great in that circuit!

Yeah, agreed, the 400 is totally there. Wow, it's friggin awesome. :D
Tweaked values, frankenstrat, pickups, bla-bla-bla, that pretty much nailed it.

Yep, there is something creamy, spongy, or whatever in there that wasn't before, amp is voice fantastictly, for the VH clips you might need some M25's in the chain to make it a bit more define!!

Is the 400v / 500v selector standard in the 12 series kit or is that a custom add-on for one George's builds ?
