Vintage Scumback, live in 82

Post by Scumback Speakers » Fri Nov 26, 2010 9:24 pm

Yep, the things you get on Thanksgiving out of the blue. One of my old band mates had a video from two club gigs we did back in early 82. Well out of nowhere he emails me to tell me he's done some audio EQ/levels and resynced the audio to the video. This was back when you could use a 50w amp in a club.

So with that disclosure/explanation made, have a good chuckle at my expense at these youtube clips. He's got about two hours of this stuff, I think, so don't be surprised if there's more posted as time goes on. The band's name was Centrfold (purposely mispelled). I toured with these guys for three years, 50 weeks a year, five nights a week, 4.5 sets per night.

I tried to do the embedded youtube link thing but couldn't make it work. If someone can tell me how to fix it I'd appreciate it.

haha, the cops are to busy with other things to even notice the loud guitars.

LOL, I was trying to match the bass player and keep time with him and the other guitarist for the headstock dip. Didn't do a good job since the singer was in the way. Finally just said screw it and did that hip shake thing.

The babes loved it. I got comments from them on it all the time.

Awesome! Sounds great! I use my 50 watter in clubs around Toronto. So far no one has told me to turn it down. In fact I got asked to turn up once!
