I finally made a couple quick clips of my '67 replica 100 watt.

The chain is:

Les Paul with '68 T Tops (7.35k) - '67 replica head - '70 slant cab with G12H's - SM57 - little Mackie mixer - RME Multiface sound card - Cool Edit Pro. No eq or FX added.

Here's a clip of me just playin along. The left side is the bridge pickup. I recorded it first, then recorded on the right with the neck pickup.

Nice and sloppy. Enjoy.

Very nice. It's hard to tell from the clip, does it ghost too bad up higher on the neck? Seems like you mentioned working with the filtering in a previouos thread due to ghosting......

I don't get much ghosting at all. But the LP has pretty weak PU's.
Take a listen the the right side only on the second clip. It is mostly up the neck single notes.

Listening loud I hear more sympathetic ringing of other strings than ghosting. Let me know what you think.

the ac/dc clips sounds great!
which pickups are you using?

They are a pair of T tops from a '68 SG.

The output is pretty low. They measure 7.35k each.

I imagine these clips were at "kill small animals and children" loud - right?

Sounds great!

I'm demoing one of Metropoulos's 67s right now and so many words come to mind but two will do it. UNBELIEVABLE TONE. If your looking for it. Get one. I'm gonna get two. I'm playing it through a Gibson les paul 1986 standard with a number 2 burstbucker and a metropoulos 4x12 with vintage 30's. I can't wait to hear how it sounds through the new g12h 30s.

No attenuation, and insanely loud. Bandit, how many clicks down on the power break are you running it at gigs?

He's using the same amp I made the clips with.
