Re: Metro 100mv Clip
Thanks JimiJames... '78 LP Custom with SLE101 Ltd Throbaks, Metro B Cab loaded with Heritage Celestion G12M's... Cascade Fathead mic through a Presonus Firebox with Reaper software... that is the entire chain thanks for listening... not the best clip by any means but you can get the gist of what the 100mv sounds like... I am surprised that more people aren't building this amp!!! It's a great amp!JimiJames wrote:nice classic tone assuming an LP but, Metro B cabloaded with ...?

Re: Metro 100mv Clip
Sounds really nice, very old school and grimey.
Those Throbak PAFs are tasty too - I'll most likely be in the market for some PAF repros at some point after xmas. I've tried BKP Mules and they were some of the best I've tried, but overall I wanted a hotter bridge and clearer neck pickup - their Abraxas set solved all that. Still, its nice to try other stuff out - a set of Shed pickup PAFs are next to try (tried their Esquire pickup in my Tele and am sold on the quality of their stuff).
