I just picked this beauty up out of the classified section! Truly a magnificent amplifier. I've been really trying to find the sweet spot for mic-ing this beauty. I'm fairly happy at this point (for a home recording) but I wanted to get some feedback here before I start doing some "real" clips :)

Gibson R9 loaded with Throbak SLE-100's / Lava Cable / Metroamp GPM 45 (George built) /Bogner OS 2x12 loaded with Scumbacks both LHDC's (H75/M75 65 watters) KICK ASS SPEAKERS by the way! Two Sure Beta 58 mics (one about two inches from the grill / one about 2 feet away)

Much better clips to come but for now this is only a test :)

Thanks!

Great tone, and I love the white. You must be pleased to have picked up serial #1!

Thanks Guys! I am totally stoked about this amp! The fact that it is serial number 1 is definitely icing on the cake.

FYI The power tubes are Valve Art and pre amp tubes are NOS and as follows:

V1 Tungsgram
V2 Brimar
V3 Brimar
