Finally... Clips of my 12 series build!! Video content!
Hey y'all check it out! Just wanted to share some clips of my Metro 12 series build in action. First, is a video of my band, Toe Head, we just finished this new song & it was the first time I had the chance to record with it. It was definitely the best guitar sound I have ever gotten in the studio.
I'm hard panned right & it's basically my guitar into a ClinchFX EP-PRE pedal, into my amp that was dimed & on the low voltage tap, into a UA.
For the solo I just kicked in a Cusack Screamer for a little more gain & a Sweet Sound Mojovibe.
The singer's guitar is hard panned left & he was playing into an Orange 30watt combo. I think my amp ate his for dinner!

Next, is a short clip I did for a tv show called Unsigned Rock TV that airs out here in Southen California ever Wednesday night at midnight on KDOC (usually CH.56) where we are a featured artist on the show ever week. It is basically me going through my rig. It was originally a lot longer & I went into more details, but most of it ended up on the cutting room floor (damn you networks )

Hope you enjoy!! If so, check out our other videos.
Thanks,
Rock on

Hey guys thanks for the compliments!!! I did mention Metro a couple of times but those are the parts that were edited out !!!
Yeah, it's just the stock 68' kit, but with Sozo Vintage caps & all AB CC except for a couple places where I used CF.
Coupling caps - .022u
V2A - .68u cap
Tone stack - 33k/500
Output coupling caps - .1u
NFB - 47k on the 8ohm tap
Fizzy cap - 47p
I've tried all the different specs and always come back to this one.

Re: Finally... Clips of my 12 series build!! Video content!
Hey Sral68, we miked an Orange 2x12 open back cabinet with Vintage 30's with a Beyer M69 on the front, dead center on one of the speakers, and a SM57 inside of the back of the cabinet. Both mics through a Chandler TG2 mic pre, and two Vintage UREI 1176’s. Then just mixed the two mics together to our liking. The mic on the back adds some nice low end & midrange that the front doesn't have. We tried using my Bogner 4x12 with G12H30 speakers with the same mics & didn't sound as big & thick.
Thanks for the compliments tone chaser, much appreciated!!
