I added the extra tube to my amp, ala Arrendondo1 schematic. I think it sounds alright but you be the judge. I'm using a Paf Pro in the bridge of my Kramer Baretta. I'm also using an MXR in the front of the amp, doesn't really need it, it has a slight frown curve on it. Settings are Pres-2, Bass-10, Middle-8, Treble-10, gain-4. The amp is also equipped with a Jose master volume. The switching is pretty straight forward, just like the schem. I only have the V1 cascaded switch on. Very heavy, almost too much grit. I'm using all Tung-Sol 12AX7's, perhaps their may be a better alternative to these tubes as well.

- I used a 27K feedback resister and instead of 2 100K's in series for the extra tube I used 1. 32mfd cans for screens in series, 16mfd can for PI, 50/50 in series for mains.
