90's Hendrix 100W SPL vs Current 1959 SPL reissue

Post by guitdo » Mon Jan 26, 2004 7:23 pm

Any diffence between the "Hendrix" 100W SPL produced in the early-mid 90's VS current 1959 SPL reissue? Specifically in regards to components/wiring and ultimately the sound. (not including effects loop)

Thanks

It seems like I read that the only difference was the color.
I think Bluefuzzguitar might be able to answer this better than I can.

No difference apart from the color. George is right about that one. I've got a 1994 purple Hendrix halfstack and my band's other guitar player owns a 1997 35th anniversary white halfstack. The PCB's and iron are identical but there is one difference: the white cab has side handles whereas my purple cab doesn't.
