My "Scumback DBL" will arrive on Thursday - can't wait!

...did anyone else order one yet?

I am very happy with its predecessor my Alex - best attenuator I have (the Hotplate is great for the bench as it is compact and has a load setting, the Motherload is great if you want to simulate a cab or send to the board but the Alex is best for gigging and jamming).

I am sure the DBL will serve you well :champ:

Spent some quality time last night with the Scumback DBL...all I can say is WOW!

It is everything I expected it to be!

Jim has done an awesome job resurrecting the Alex; construction is top notch - built like a tank... quality parts throughout (had to peek), PTFE wiring throughout - just a super solid build...like the original not the size of a refrigerator sitting on top of your amp.

Over the years I have owned a Power Brake, Hot Plate, Allessandro, and the very expensive Aracom PRX DAG (just could not justify the cost) ...and I can say this beauty is the real deal!

I highly recommend that folks consider procuring one of these beauties if they are in need of tempering their plexi's roar- you can't beat the price and service...it's probably no surprise to most that Jim is a great guy to do business with!
