I posted this over in the EVH section but thought it might be useful here as well.
I have taken a PDF of the Marshall 101 Circuits that Clay Finley did and put the text in a Word document. You won't have the benefit of the pictures but that is ok, I think.
I take no responsibility or credit for the content although I did "clean" it up a bit.
Let me know what you think.

Great!
It is a really useful thing to have in the beginners section as a 'sticky' although cleaned up might need another pass by a proof reader if it does!

Re: Marshall 101 - Clay Finley
Anyone know where I can get a copy of Marshall Circuits 101, all the links on this forum are bad and I tried to download the word and pdf versions to no avail. Does anyone have a full copy with all the pictures? Would be highly appreciated.

Sorry for necro but I was also looking. You can access it via the Wayback Machine. Here: https://web.archive.org/web/20040210131 ... s_101.html

Re: Marshall 101 - Clay Finley
Years ago I found Clay's info and it really helped me learn about the Marshall circuits. If I remember right, I bought his JTM45 reissue. That was the project amp where I bought Sozo caps, Metro PTP board and Mercury Magnetics Radio Spares transformers and did a build for David Szabados at LegendaryTones.com. That was my first amp build ever.
