100 Watt to 50 Watt Conversion Made Easy

Post by flemingmras » Wed Mar 24, 2004 4:56 pm

Here is a cheap(actually it costs a whopping $0.00 for this mod) and easy way to convert a 100 Watt amp to a 50 Watt. Matter of fact this mod is so easy even that chick you picked up from the bar last night could do this one! Check this out.

Open the back and pull out the two outside tubes. Then, switch your impedance selector 1 down from the impedance of your cabinet(Ex, for an 8 ohm cab switch it to the 4 ohm setting, and for 16 ohms switch it to 8 ohms, and for 2 16 ohm cabinets(total of 8 ohms) switch it to the 4 ohm setting). And PRESTO! You have created a 50 watt monster!
