6" logo?
some one told me marshall never put the white 6" logo on cabs only gold. Is this true and how do you know?

Seems to be true, yes. I have never seen a legit example of an original cab with a white 6" logo. When Marshall introduced white logos (late 69/early 70 IIRC) the shape of the logo changed to the now familiar shape, but only amp heads got the 6" logo. 4x12 cabs got the new 9" logo. I know for sure that the change had happened by mid '70.
