Marshall DSL 50 (UK version) or 5150 III 50 watt???

Hello,

My apologies in advance if this topic has been beaten to death. If someone could help me out that would be great.

For an early VH plexi tone (circa 1984), which of these two amps would be better?

- Marshall DSL50 (Made in UK) head
- EVH 5150 III 50 watt head

Unfortunately, I cannot demo either amp.
