That amp sounds like what EVERYBODY was after in the '80's 'Modded Marshall' crowd. Distinctly voiced away from anything remotely 'vintage' sounding. Sounds alot like Splawn mods/amps. Here again, the PERFECT '80's Modded Marshall sound, like 'Thunder In The East'/'Lightning Strikes' era Loudness or 'Raising Fear' era Armoured Saint. Imo, Dave Friedman and Scott Splawn (along with Cameron) have taken the sound and direction of the Jose/Lee Jackson type mods to a higher sonic level
