Sorry if it has been asked before, I am intrigued by use of parallel triode set up in forst gain stage, the rest looks pretty much like a 12 series with the virtual variac and a few switches, neat tho'

Picture 1 of 7 there shows a switch on the front of the amp that looks like a Missile Control safety throw! Very nice touch, what with the red head box and so forth. What's next? Two keys to start the amp, so no one man can start a war?
