Anyone going to the Dallas Guitar Show???

Post by VelvetGeorge » Mon Apr 16, 2007 9:55 pm

I'll have 12 series head on display there. My new friend Uwe will have it at the Diezel booth.

Here's the back story:

Metallica are using Diezel amps these days and Uwe is the North American distributor. He has been hooking them up with amps and they mentioned that they were looking to try some new things. Long story short, I worked all weekend a while back and FEDEX'ed a 12 series out to them on Monday.

They said they loved the amp and it sounded just like their real plexis. But they already have a room full of those, and they are looking for something new.

Fair enough!

I figured the amp would serve me best in LA so I left it with Uwe and Mike from 65 Corp. Now it's heading to Dallas. So feel free to drop by and check it out.
I'd be in Dallas myself but I'll be on the beach getting married.

When is that supposed to be? I live an hour north of Dallas, and am looking forward to seeing this. Plus, where I work, I cannot look up nearly anything worthwhile, as it is blocked. I suppose I should be working, eh?

Bluze81, I take it you live arounf Lake Texoma? Is 81 your birthdate? If that's the case we live in the same area and about the same age. I will be in Austin this weekend so I will not be able to make it. I may try to make it to the Arlington show.

That's cool. Been in town many years? Maybe I'll stop by sometime, what's it called, if you don't mind me asking.

I'm going to try and get there myself. Dave from Dave's Guitar Shop in LaCrosse, WI highly recommends going at least once.
