Hi Flemingmras.

The wires from V2 Pin 3 & 8 are Ok, no shorts on the board...

Then I think we should limit our inspection to the part of the circuit that has voltage when only the mains switch is on, since the last time the fuse blew when the standby was off (and without any tubes).

So I ask you all:
what areas of the circuit should I investigate?
I think I should look at:

1) PT (PT itself is ok, but the wiring could be wrong... maybe at the mains fuse or mains switch)
2) Filaments (these should also be Ok)
3) Bias supply
4) OT primary
5) Pilot lamp

What else should I check?
